Overview

Odíhg Taj̼iwíhg was founded durring the early 12th century in spring of the year 1103, by Byoctî Lewis Collins. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Byoctî Lewis Collins.

Odíhg Taj̼iwíhg was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Taj̼iwíhg is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Odíhg Taj̼iwíhg is buildings are speckled and packed arround premissive paverstone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town posesses a mighty albit amaturly crafted stone wall. It was built using querried stone blocks and posesses all of the standard defencive features, including a few watch towers. While it would last against a siege, the wall's outdated and simplistic construction method percludes the possability of Odíhg Taj̼iwíhg weathering a full scale bombardment durring a siege. Astonishigly, the budget focused millitary grade defenses are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

The town shows nothing out of the ordinary, at first glance. Then you start to notice all the small things. Each window has seven iron nails pounded into the sill. Every door has a sprig of holly overhead. Every well is branded with purity seals and runes to ward the contents. Everyone is carrying a small charm for safety or fortune, be it a rabbit’s foot, a horseshoe, or other little totems.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Odíhg Taj̼iwíhg's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

Architecture, local laws, and social customs are all tuned to suit them, and they may not be particularly forgiving or friendly to the major culture of the region. Communities that are not outright independent usually make an arm's-length submission to a local lord.

Odíhg Taj̼iwíhg's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.

In Odíhg Taj̼iwíhg hail is always enormous, yet harmlessly plinks off people, creatures, and structures.

The Baccae near Odíhg Taj̼iwíhg are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Odíhg Taj̼iwíhg's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves creating small tokens to channel Enchantment energies of tier 3 via recitation of scripture.
